In cake tasting news, met with Sentelli's yesterday. Mike, the owner, is a laid back, Austin hippie! One that makes delicious cakes! Of note are the tiramisu and chocolate truffle cakes. We meet with Coco Paloma tomorrow to continue our quest for the perfect cake. Will keep you posted...
Also this week - we've picked our flower girls! They will be Sofia, daughter of one of my co-workers, and Kennedy, Matt's cousin on the Leach side. They will both be in second grade, have curly hair, and are super cute! Needless to say, they were extremely excited!

Happy Friday!
This weekend is gonna be AWESOME! I'll be southbound 35 again for one of my longtime friend's bridal shower. Also, I'll be seeing my bestie who is recently engaged! That's right, folks - recently ENGAGED! We're gonna have a lot to do since I pretty much told her I want to plan her wedding :-) I am so excited to see my ladies! Hope everyone can find a nearby cool spot/water source this weekend b/c it's getting hot out there!

Wedding News!!
Back in the wedding grind - feels good! Next week, Matt and I have two cake tastings. The first is with Sentelli's. The owner used to be the pastry chef at the Driskill and now runs his own bakery right down the street from us! Second is Coco Paloma, she likes challenges and non-traditional cakes and I'm pretty sure she worked at the Driskill some time or another, too. I'll keep you posted on both tastings! This is also one of the things Matt's actually pumped about, which is always a plus. Also meeting with Lauren W. on Thursday to see if we can finally come up with a color palette. Happy Friday!
Mmmmm delicious brunch...Tomorrow I am going to make Courtney Ewing drink mimosas with me since she is making me run the Austin Pride 5K (afterwards, of course)! Other weekend activities include a family photo shoot by Katie Funke with Matt's mom, siblings, and all the sig others. On an exciting note, my maid of honor, Lori, and her boyfriend, Nathan, are going to Portugal on Tuesday! I'm sure they'll have an amazing time!
