April showers bring May flowers

I'm back! It has been too long. In Austin, it seems to have been May showers bring June flowers??? Lots of rain and cloudy days. Since I haven't posted my Monday, Monday Inspiration in a while, I'll post some lovely flowers in honor of spring. As for wedding news, I've taken a hiatus and will be looking for officiants and wedding cake/cupcake bakers in the near future.

Today's inspiration is quilts! I thought it would be fun for my grandma to make us a wedding quilt. She produces tons of quilts with her quilting group at church for the homeless and newborns. Monday, Monday Inspiration

This week's inspiration fun is dogs at weddings!(!!!!) I've chosen dogs because the sweetest girl in the whole world, Penny Lane, turns six years old today. Being Penny's mom has been one of the most joyful and rewarding experiences in my life. Anyone would tell you this because I talk about her A LOT! In honor of her bday, she will be having steak for dinner and I'm going to make her a peanut butter carrot cake :-) She will be joining the wedding festivities next April, naturally.
